         Senator Representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District, Henry Seriake Dickson on Friday, 12th November 2021 officially unveiled the Henry Seriake Dickson Football Tournament, tagged " Ufurumapepe Cup" According to him, the tournament is aimed at youth empowerment and grassroot.  Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, on Wednesday, launched an ICT-based scheme to empower youths in the state. Under the initiative tagged "Diri Digital Entrepreneurship Empowerment Programme (DDEEP)," 8,000 beneficiaries across the eight local government areas of the state would be trained and equipped with information communication and technology skills.
