2019: " Our MANDATES LIE'S WITH THE PEOPLE " - MASARI

The Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari has assured that people's wish will prevail in the emergence of candidates ahead of next year's general elections.

@Katgovmedia report that Masari gave this assurance in Malumfashi during the disbursement of empowerment packages donated by a member of the house of representatives, representing the good people of Malumfashi- Kafur federal constituency, Alhaji Babangida Ibrahim Mahuta.

The Governor said, politicians wishing to vie for any political office must return to people for the verdict on their aspirations.

Masari further pointed out that the production of bill boards and their display  at public functions does not mean an aspirant is popular as it will not bail him out.

Katsina Media and Publicity reports that he urged beneficiaries of the empowerment packages, particularly the Da'awah committee not to misuse the hilux vehicles or turn them into personal use instead of the propagation of the religion.

He also noted that people who supported religious and agricultural programmes would obtain rewards both in this world and the hereafter.

In a remark, the Funtua Zonal vice chairman of the APC, Alhaji Bala Abubakar  re assured that there would be no anointed candidates during the buildup to the 2019 general elections.

Bala urged other elected persons from the state to emulate what Babangida Ibrahim did to people in his constituency.

The chairman of the distribution committee of the empowerment packages, Alhaji Hamza Muhammad Mahuta said the gesture would alleviate the suffering of the beneficiaries.

Recall that katsina media and publicity had reported that the Katsina State Governor met with the states delegates ahead of preparations for the primaries of the 2019 elections.
