"TRANSITION FROM BAD TO GOOD LEADERSHIP IS NOT AN EASY THING" ~ MASARI



The Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari had today stated that the current Change Agenda of the All Progressives Congress (APC) which is restoring the  whole system of the country from bad style of leadership and setting path development of Nigeria and Katsina State is not in anyway something very easy.

Katsina Media and Publicity reports that Masari disclosed this while receiving the leadership of Aminu Bello Masari Volunteers Concern Civil Servants today at the Muhammadu Buhari House, the seat of Katsina State Government.

Masari attributed the challenges currently being faced now as systemic decay in leadership as well as lack of fear of Allah (S.W.T.).

He said, “The moment a leader does not think of the legacies he leaves behind, and the fear of God as he will be asked, then there is a problem".

The Governor commended the Civil Servants for having such a forum, adding that each of them has a responsibility to move the State forward as Civil Servants.

Earlier, the Secretary of the movement, Malam Aminu Sayudi, explained several things they have benefited from the government as well the public which includes; constant payment of salaries compared to other States, ranking Katsina first always or second to Lagos; Abolishing the tenure system and the HND/B.sc Dichotomy; training and retraining of civil servants; gratuity; outstanding arrears as well as reinstating of sacked civil servants.

@katgovmedia reports that Sayudi said the public servants have benefitted  numerously adding that 72 number roads have been constructed across the state worth N50billion; total upgrade of health facilities; renovation and upgrade of over 2000 classrooms worth N2billion; water supply, citing Ajiwa and numerous drainages with  such an aid, in spite of the high downpour this year, the state was saved from displaced persons  camps.

On behalf of the movement, he promised hundreds of thousands of votes for Masari come 2019.
