Big Blow For PDP As Over 50 Members Decamp to APC in Emevor

.. Party Chair Applaud Emevor APC For The Provision Of A befitting Party Secretariat.

The gale of defections currently going on within the nooks and cranny of the Nation hits the People's Democratic Party Emevor Ward as no fewer than 50 members of the People Democratic Party defected to the All Progressives Congress APC.

The event took place at the newly commissioned party Secretariat, in enlarged meeting of the party which has the leaders,executives, women and youth groups as well as party faithfuls in attendant.

The Chairman of APC Emevor Ward, Mr Efe Atehe who was full of excitements as the party had never recorded such attendant in Emevor since the formulation of the party. He also ,on behalf, of APC Emevor ward expressed gratitude to one time Delta South Senatorial Candidate of DPP and a leader of APC Emevor Ward Sunny Ogwilaya for providing a befitting party secretariat to APC Emevor Ward.

Some of the people who defected to the party are Youth Mobilisers both in Emevor and Isi, Mr Samuel Edeye and Engr. Engr Christian Ovo Ojoru,Ulukpo Sylvester,others are Mr Ereh Abraham,Beatrice Uvoh,,Jonathan Owuh are more two numerous to mention.

The Governor òf Bayelsa State, the Honorable Henry Seriake Dickson has raised the alarm that leaders of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Timipre Sylva and Minister of State for Agriculture, Mr. Heineken Lokpobiri are trying to use the proposed visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to Bayelsa to foment crisis.
