Masari Launches free Distribution of over 5 Mosquito Nets




The Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon Aminu Bello Masari was earlier today in Daura to launch the process that kickstarts the statewide distribution of Free Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs) across the 34 Local Government Areas of Katsina State.
Katsina Media and Publicity reports that the Governor who was accompanied by the Deputy Governor, Q.S. Mannir Yakubu; who is also the State Net Ambassador.
Masari reveals that his government’s commitment in the health sector is visible and so far the State Government has employed more than one thousand healthcare personnel across all cadre.
“Our healthcare delivery institutions are receiving upgrades to meet the demands and needs of our people, the Governor said.
@katgovnedia reports that Masari further reiterated, “In our determination to combat malaria, we are today at the Emir of Daura’s Palace for the Flag-Off of the distribution of Free Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets across the State. This program is in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health and the Family Health Nigeria and funded by GlobalFund
The Governor assured the partner agencies of his government’s commitment to ensure the success of the program.
“We are determined to ensure the success of the program, hence our resolve to provide all the necessary support for its planning and execution, Masari said.
It will be recalled that Katsina Media and Publicity had reported about the commencement of the LLINs distribution in September this year.
