Masari Meets Over 150 Aspirants of Just Concluded APC Primaries




The Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon Aminu Bello Masari had earlier today met with all the contestants of the just concluded Primary Elections under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in an attempt to unite the party ahead of the 2019 General Elections.
Katsina Media and Publicity reports that the meeting took place at the Banquet Hall of the the Muhammadu Buhari House, the seat of Katsina State Government.
Masari was accompanied by his Deputy Governor, Q.S. Mannir Yakubu and the State Chairman of the APC, Malam Shittu S. Shittu.

The Party Chairman said the aim of the meeting is to restrengthen the party to face the 2019 General Elections.
@katgovmedia reports that in his remark, the Governor said the intention of the meeting is to have a heart to heart talk with all aspirants particularly those that did not emerge as winners.

Speaking further, Masari said it is normal of politics, particularly the internal democracy for Primary Elections to cause grudges and political misnomer. He further reiterated that the aim of the gathering was to reunite and strengthen them as a Political Party.
The meeting have in attendance all the aspirants that contested in one position or another in the last Primary Election; they include Senators, Members of House of Representatives and State House of Assemblies.
It will be recalled that Katsina Media and Publicity had exclusively, reported the attendance of Nura Khalil, Hon. Abdul'aziz Musa Yar'adua, Dr. Yusha'u Armaya'u, Rt. Hon ya'u Umar Gwajo Gwajo and prominent business mogul Alh. Dahiru Bara'u Mangal and many other prominent aspirants.
