Jamboree As Over 200 Political Groups, Northern Musicians, kannywood Actors Rally To Support Buhari/Masari 2019





Over 200 Political Associations/Groups, The APC Association of Northern Musicians and the Kannywood actors had yesterday converged in Katsina State for a rally round the State in show of solidarity and support for the reelection of President Muhammadu BUHARI and the Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari in 2019.

Katsina Media and Publicity reports that the rally which started at the All Progressives Congress's (APC) State Headquarters to Muhammadu Dikko Stadium had thousands of youths chanting solidarity and support songs.

The rally which ended at the stadium was attended by the Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, his deputy Mannir Yakubu, Secretary to the government of the state, Mustapha Inuwa and other members of the State Executive and Legislative Councils.

Musicians who displayed there talents in show of support, made live performances some of the performers include; Boda, Ado gwanja, Fati Niger, Aminu Ala, Ajuba, Yarima, Baban Chinedu, the head of the Musicians Dauda Kahutu Rara, among many others.

Some of the Kannywood actors at the event include; Ali Nuhu, Rukayya Dawayya, Shu'aibu Kumurchi, Dandolo, Asasi among many others.

The State APC party Chairman Malam shittu S. Shittu in his address, welcomed the guests to Katsina and explained to them the good job done by the President and the Katsina State Governor adding that "we in Katsina have no reason to elect any party other than the APC".

The Governor, while addressing them appreciated the wisdom of the organisers as he sued for continued support as they continue to put in their best for National Development.

@katgovmedia reports that Masari who explained the reason for the gang up against president BUHARI said its is all in a bid to take back the country to the bad days, saying the social investment program by the Federal Government is to see in a no distant time a country with self sufficiency in basic needs by all it's citizens.

Highlights of the event were show of talent by a dancing competition, at the end of which the best were awarded.

  Inspite  of the deadlock in FAAC, the Bayelsa State Government has commenced payment of June salary to civil servants in the state, beginning from today,  Wednesday.                          The Government in a press statement signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Finance,  Mr.  Maxwell Ibibai said,  following the stalemate  in FAAC, Governor Henry Seriake Dickson directed the immediate sourcing of  funds to address the salary concerns of civil servants. While stressing that Government holds workers in the state in high esteem,  he said Governor Dickson always gives priority to their welfare.  He also enjoined workers to be dedicated to duty.
