Katsina Women Recognise Masari's Efforts, Edorse him for 2019



A Katsina based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Katsina Women Forum had today recognised the Restoration Governor, Rt.  Hon. Aminu Bello Masari's effort in the area of good governance particularly the women empowerment aspect of his Administration.

Katsina Media and Publicity reports that Masari was awarded along side Abdullahi Tsauri Tata for his commitment to women empowerment as well.

The head of the NGO, Hajiya Amina Lawal Dauda said "since the inception of Katsina State, there has never been any government that had empowered the women gender more than the Masari Administration". She added that their NGO had impacted positively to the lives of numerous women and the girl child.

@katgovmedia reports that Amina made a case of their impact in the Change Agenda citing the current "Change Begins With Me"; a program the NGO initiated and is today placed as one of the centre piece of the Federal Government's policies.

The Chairman of the occasion, the District Head of Malumfashi, Justice Maman Nadir, blessed the duo as well as the NGO for this good job. He also sued for patience and prayers to leaders so as to be guided by Allahu Subhanahu wata'ala.

Nasir, also called on the people to be law abiding citizens and avoid all inimical and criminal acts so as to have a sustainably developed society.

The award recipient Abdullahi Tata, in his address, requested the populace to support Masari's reelection bid as the Governor's heart is good and focused towards a greater Katsina. He added that Allah (SWT) said if you thank me I shall give unto you more; Masari is a blessing and if we do not thank Allah for Masari he will give us Lado as a punishment. He prayed May Allah (SWT) save Katsina from the Lado.

Our Correspondents report that Tata said he owes the state women for they purchased aspiration form for him and he shall pay them.

The Governor, who dwelled his speech on the need to empower and train the girl child and youth, stated that the future holds them liable for whatever effort they make in that regards. The Governor said his government's commitment to empower the women gender is visible in the 60-40% resources wise.

He commended the organisers of the event for the good job they had been doing to make Katsina great and commended Tsauri Tata's strides in that regards too.

Highlights of the event were cultural entertainment and presentation of award to the duo.

INTERNATIONAL OIL COMPANIES FUELING INSECURITY IN NIGER DELTA - GOV. DICKSON

March 21, 2019 Bayelsa State Governor, Honourable Henry Seriake Dickson, on Wednesday night launched the Rise For Bayelsa Campaign, an initiative to attract global attention to the ravaging effects of oil spills, pollution and environmental degradation in the state.
