Masari Hosts Buhari New New Media Centre Leadership



The Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari had yesterday hosted the Northwest Leadership of the BUHARI New Media Centre at the Muhammadu Buhari House, the seat of Katsina State Government.

Katsina Media and Publicity reports that the North West Leadership of the Centre which were presented to the Governor by the Director General Katsina Media and Publicity, Malam Ibrahim Mu'azzam Abdullahi were at the house to pay a courtesy visit to the Governor to intimate him of the activities of the centre and to formally introduce the State Leadership to him.

Mu'azzam took time in explaining to the Governor the effort made by the State Chapter of the BNMC adding that " the centre has an objective of grouping volunteers for promotion of Buhari/Masari's developmental strides".

@katgovmedia reports that the National Coordinator of the Centre, Bashir Ahamad who is also the Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, appreciated the Governor's gesture by giving them time despite his tight schedule, he explained to the Governor the reason why he was chosen as the first Governor to be consulted about the Center.

Bashir said, the aim of the centre is to use the 21st century method of information to inform the Nigerian citizens of the happenings in the country at large and also to document for future references the good doings of President Muhammadu Buhari in policy, programs and projects for the unborn generation.

The State Governor in responding to the team, assured them of all support to see that the goals of the Centre excels. He however, lamented the use of conventional media by the opposition to change the mindset of the people from the reality.

Our correspondents gathered that Masari called on the centre to be active and proactive in making the people informed about the government's activities in assuring the betterment of their lives. He made a case with the OPEC released figures on how the Nigeria's oil revenues under 6years of Goodluck's term in office and how it had doubled within the 3 years Buhari's term. OPEC revealed that in spite of the array, the revenue received by Buhari had proved to be more effective in terms of project and others in the Nation. He urged them to explore those data and disect them to be consumable by ordinary Nigerians
