 The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa, Mr Moses Cleopas has raised the alarm that APC Leaders in the State in conjunction with the Military, have used JTF Gunboats to mount a blockade and seized already completed electoral materials from Wards 4, 14, 15, 16 of Southern Ijaw LGA and diverted them to Ogboinbiri also in Southern Ijaw LGA to alter the results in favour of the APC.                    

The PDP Chairman is therefore calling on the Local Collation Officers for SILGA and the Police to ensure the altered  result is not accepted.

Following the recent declaration by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of November 2, 2019 as date for the Bayelsa Governorship Election, the race for the next landlord of the ‘Creek Haven” Bayelsa State Government House, Yenagoa, is on the upward swing and fast gathering momentum.
