National President ALGON Hon Kolade Alabi has applauded the hosting of NIG@60 stating that its would foster inclusive economic growth and development of the local government areas which is the foundation of our nations governance.

He stated this while receiving the principal consultant of programme Mr Ono Akpe of Red Sapphire Ltd in Abuja as he saluted the initiative of the administration of President Mohammadu Buhari to host the event.

Alabi insisted that the forum would provide a platform for interaction by bringing both Local, State and the Federal Governments together adding that the FG should be appreciated for such laudable initiative to stimulate economic development, peace and unity in the country.

“It is important that all tiers of Governance integrate regularly in other to foster harmony in our nation. Thus President Buhari’s initiative ably piloted by the Inter- Ministerial Committee led by Mr Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Federal Government as well as the Ownership Committee led by the Hon Minister of Trade and Industries is worthy of commendation”.he said.

The ALGON boss urged all Local Governments in the Country, intervention agencies, corporate organisations, development partners and well meaning Nigerians to key into this initiative that is designed to showcase the unique and outstanding goods and services that abounds in each and every LGA of Nigeria.

“Nigeria is a blessed Nation and only with such initiatives can we showcase our outstanding agricultural and mineral resources with a view to stimulating investments into these critical areas”.

He added that the Local Government Areas are all gearing up to attend this event so as to showcase thier outstanding products in their LGAs.

The event consultant Ono Akpe in his remarks thanked the President of ALGON for granting them the opportunity to be of service to the association and the nation at large. He stated that the event team has promised to ensure that the event meets international standards with adequate security and exhibition facilities while working in accordance to strict Covid-19 protocols.

The NIG @ 60 ALGON Exhibition and Lecture is scheduled to hold in Abuja between the 26th and 30th of September 2021 with the theme “Nigeria’s Third Tier of Governance as the stimulant for cohesion , unity , economic growth and development.”
