MASARI INAUGURATES E-LIBRARY IN KATSINA





The Katsina state Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari had earlier today attended the Family Support Program School annual speech and prize giving day, also inaugurates an electronic Library facility in the school

Family support program is a Katsina based public school created in 1997 with the aim of bridging gender gap in Nursery, primary and secondary education especially among the female gender, the school had been refurbished, upgraded and standardized to compete globally with many other schools across the state, as the Masari administration made education central and cardinal to its Agenda.

@katgovmedia reports that Masari, who's children are studying in the public school as promised during his campaign in 2015 commended the school management noting his government's effort in strengthening the administration of the school particularly the appointment of a Director for the school adding that it was against most peoples wish "but sometimes we have to take hard decisions today for a better tomorrow" he said.

Earlier, the commissioner of education Dr. Badamasi charanchi had underscores the effort of the state government in education, noting efforts in areas of infrastructure and teacher welfare as a reason for its success.

The honorable commissioner, Ministry for Women Affairs Dr. Badiyya Hassan Mashi who was the chief host applauded the governor's commitment noting since 1997, the year the school was created,no single structure was added by government until 2015 when the current administration came on board.

Prizes were issued to the best final year students of the school with Bello Aminu Bello been the best final year student of English Language and Rukaiya Abdullahi Ruma as the best mathematics student.

Katsina media and publicity gathered  that the governor commissioned a millions  of naira Electronic Library with millions of literatures available also He commissioned a basket ball court donated to the school by Fidelity Bank PLC.

Katsina media and publicity also learnt that over 20 E- library facilities are available across the state all constructed in the last three years, fundament yo note is that the e library facility can be accessed from any where in the world login into www.katsinalibrary.net.

INTERNATIONAL OIL COMPANIES FUELING INSECURITY IN NIGER DELTA - GOV. DICKSON

March 21, 2019 Bayelsa State Governor, Honourable Henry Seriake Dickson, on Wednesday night launched the Rise For Bayelsa Campaign, an initiative to attract global attention to the ravaging effects of oil spills, pollution and environmental degradation in the state.
