Masari Inaugurates 25 Brand New Commercial Buses

The Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon Aminu Bello Masari had earlier today commissioned 25 brand new buses for inter State transportation across the federation. Katsina Media and Publicity reports that the event took place today at  the Katsina State Transport Authority Motor Park along Batsari road where the Governor Lamented over the poor management of the Transport Authority. Masari said all over the world, transportation is subsidised by government and in his own view, Nigeria should not be an exception to that. A group, The Nigeria Academic Think Tank, has accused the federal government of being responsible for the circulation of the fake soft copies of “My Transition Hours”, a book written by former President Goodluck Jonathan. Masari condoles Nigerian Army Over Loss

The Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari had earlier today condoled the Nigerian Army over the lost of over 40 of its personnel at the theatre against Boko Haram. Katsina Media and Publicity reports that the Governor delivered this message when he received the staff and students of the Armed forces Command of Senior Staff College (Jaji) on a courtesy visit earlier today at the Muhammadu Buhari House, the seat of Katsina State Government. The staff and students who were in Katsina for the 41st Annual study tour of the college themed "Education and National Development, a case study of Katsina state" under the command of Brigadier General, O.R. Daura Emirate: Masari Attends Hawan Sallar Gani

Sallar Gang is an age old festival observed in Daura Emirate. Every year during the Eid Maulud celebration, precisely on the 12th Day of Rabi'ul Awwal in the Islamic calendar, sons and daughters of Daura Emirate return home to take part in the prestigious festival. "Gani" is a Hausa word meaning ‘here I am’, from  which the festival derived its name. KSTG Releases N400 Million Stipends for S-Power Employees

The Katsina State Government has released the sum of  N400 million as the payment of monthly stipends to 5,000 youths engaged in the newly introduced state-power programme tagged “S-Power”. Katsina Media and Publicity reports that the youths engaged in the programme are mostly holders of Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) and Diploma in Education certificates who have been deployed to primary schools to serve as teachers so as to reduce manpower shortages and improve the output of the pupils thereby improving the quality of education in the state.
